Think Third Thursday at Spaahh

October 23, 2009 by Hedonista · Leave a Comment

Everyone needs a pick-me-up, particularly during the inevitable onslaught of winter in the cold, wet, gray, rainy Emerald City. You in? Think Third Thursday specials offered by Spaahh at Hotel 1000 – little-known specials that will lighten your stress while keeping your wallet heavy. (Well, heavier than most spa treatments, at least.)

The Pumpkin Pedi - complete with pumpkin spice sugar foot scrub that smells good enough to eat - is worth the visit (pumpkin orange-colored nail polish optional).

Your Hedonista and a gal pal recently decided to treat ourselves to the Pumpkin Pedi - complete with pumpkin spice sugar foot scrub that smells good enough to eat - is worth the visit (pumpkin orange-colored nail polish optional).

This month’s Third Thursday was October 22nd, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The feature treatment was the Angelic Face of Autumn Glycolic Peel Treatment. This is an extensive exfoliation to – quite literally – shed the sins of summer and reveal the glow of autumn: a 30-minute treatment for a mere $45, which included a $15 Retail Credit, plus vino ‘n’ nibblies in their comforting ahh Room.

Missed out? Fear not, my spa-hungry hedonists. They have a 60-minute version of the same treatment on their regular menu for $115.

That, and Third Thursday specials typically run, well, every third Thursday.

And don’t forget their month-long specials. Remember, this October features their Pumpkin Pedi.
